About Netball Europe
FENA is the Federation of European Netball Associations, now also known as Netball Europe. There are seven affiliated members at present. These are England, Gibraltar, Malta, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
FENA was established in 1989/90 from a development within the International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA) which created five regions - Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania . When the Association was formed it incorporated the UK and Ireland Committee, whose last meeting was held in the Chimney Corner Hotel, Belfast on 3rd March 1989. The first meeting of FENA was held at the Britannia Ringway Hotel, Manchester, later in 1989.
FENA is presently administered by a Management Committee made up of the Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and one Member without Portfolio . These officers are elected, for a period of one year, by Members at the Annual General Meeting held in June each year.
